Powerhouse Museum Parramatta to Bring Creativity and Culture to the Neighbourhood

The Powerhouse Museum Parramatta, currently under construction nearby, is set to offer a range of exciting new cultural experiences. The new museum will showcase the history and cultural diversity of Australia through interactive exhibitions, workshops, and performances.

‘Powerhouse Parramatta will be Australia’s very own Smithsonian … [and] will put Australia and Parramatta on the international cultural map.’, Professor Barney Glover AO: Vice-Chancellor, Western Sydney University said.

While a specific opening date for the museum has not yet been announced, tenants of 32 Smith Building and the wider community can look forward to a new cultural hub that will inspire and enrich their lives.
